My mates got a Planet X RT80 and asked me to Bob round and listen to a clicking on his bike. It's like a double click right underneath me. The harder the cranks are under pressure the worse it gets, especially when out if the saddle.
Any ideas?

Chain ring bolts?
Headset?
Loose cleats?

That'd be the 3 I look at first.

Chain - check the links for stiff or damaged links

Chainring loose/damaged

Pedals - loose

Front mech cable tapping the cranks as it goes round.

Does it happen with every rotation? With the crank in the same position?

Crank bolts are done up?

Poorly setup front mech?

Not cleats as it's happening when I pedal in my trainers now.

The bikes only done 150 miles so doubt it's wear and tear. I'll try the things suggested now. Cheers.

Yep it happens with every rotation and with the chain on any of the front 2 rings

I'd try the suggestions mentioned above and if they don't solve it - is it the bottom bracket? Is more grease needed?

Bearings in one of the pedals dried out?

Pedals or bb would be my first thought too.

I've just had this issue....take the rear quick release out, and clean and regrease it

No worries ;0)
I only found out after I changed my BB and crankset, and virtually stripped the whole flipping thing and re greased.....happy to share my hard gotten knowledge! Spread it around too.....I reckon a good proportion of the reported pf30 BB creaks could be put down to the QR being dirty and dry.....
