Hi Chaps,

Has anyone come across this? With Ti pedal axles in an alu crank arm, over time they start to click. If I remove them, regrease and then torque up to spec they're fine.

But, it happens frequently, which is annoying when you're out on the ride.

It tends to happen after I've been mashing the pedals out of the saddle.

My one thought was whether pedal spacers would help, as they'd compress more into the crank arm, so might load the threads in a better way....

Always use pedal washers/spacers and not had a problem. Used Superstar Nano with Ti axle and now use Straitline Amps with Ti axles. Grease em and tighten up.

Ti pedals from CRC in last years Xmas sale for about 70% of the retail 🙂

It's on the spot, so weight isn't really an issue at about 30lbs, but they looked nice, and have lasted a real battering in Skye and other places.
