I'm after a pair of cleat adapters to enable use of Time Atac MTB cleats with road three bolt shoes.

Ideally I'd like something that protects the cleats when off the bike, but I'm not finding much that looks suitable. I'm also a bit of a tart and want to find something that looks neat.

Any suggestions? Found a few by searching Google images, but not having much luck with anything actually finding something for sale in the UK!

Bump - no one? I've seen a Shimano cleat stabilizing adapter at CR...

But it looks like it only bolts into one of the 3 holes available on the shoe - doesn't look very strong?

I don't think they exist. Who wants to use a road shoe off road? (apart from you).

You could drill some Look cleats I guess. All getting quote Heath Robinson IMO tho.

They do exist, typically from the makers of the shoes or similar. What shoes do you use? I plume that they just have the 3 bolt fittings for a road cleat? That set from CRC will (I imagine) use existing SPD fixings to secure the cleat and adaptor as some shoes offer threads for all cleat formats.

This Shimano adapter should work: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=28896
Though the cleats are not recessed, so they will probably touch on the ground.

Who wants to use a road shoe off road?

Who said I wanted to use a road shoe off road? My bike's used for commuting duties during the week and I'd prefer not to have to swap pedals at the weekends.

Found this...

Are they are reputable company does anyone know?
