Do you prefer tinted or untinted? I’m a big fan of the Zeiss clear lens that comes with the Melon Alleycats, the subtle tint on it is really nice, I find it really helps in low light, but those glasses don’t work with my POC Tectal helmet (which I find really comfy, figure the helmet is more important and I shouldn’t change helmet to suit a pair of glasses). Any other clear lens/glasses have a similar tint that would also work with the Tectal? I currently use Sungods which fit ok with the helmet but their clear lens isn’t tinted in any way.
Surely a tinted lens is, by definition, not a clear lens?
I've used walleva and lensmills lenses from ebay and been pleased with both, see if they (or anyone else) offer anything suitable for the sungods?
Ultimately its going to be a completely personal thing as to what works for who, for what and when. I prefer completely clear if I'm in the woods most of the day but polarised with a light tint are my go to road glasses etc.
I have the Sungod photochromic blue lens which is almost clear at low light levels - maybe that would fit your needs?
I use the Oakley prizm low light lens which has a slight tint but is excellent for night riding.
I also use the Prizm low light lens, had them in my Foakleys and have since picked up some Oakley Airbrake goggles with the same lens, really good this time of year too when in and out of trees.
Only just fitted my Clear lenses to my Madison codebreakers
Luckily they come with 3 lenses,Orange clear and purple mirror which won’t even get used as I don’t ride in fully open trails
Orange was amazing coming from adidas evil eye photochromic lenses
Could just drop in from clear open to dark trees and not feel like someone had switched the lights out 👌🏻
