Get a plastic milk bottle. Cut some off. Wrap it around the teat and leave it a bit long. Then wrap that in black tape .
Put a hole through the extra milk bottle and secure to bottle with elastic string.
Easy peasy and it works.

I was going to suggest the Halfords one too.

If only someone would come up with some sort of mud/shit guard that fitted onto the bottle cage mounts to keep the top of the bottle clean......

I did but a lot mud arcs over the bottle so any cover makes getting the bottle difficult.
You need a good front mudguard.

So far, I seem to have the front bottle guard working fine but the rear needs more work. I reckon it's mostly stuff getting thrown off the front wheel hitting the rear 😉

You're gonna have to show us a pic as I'm struggling to picture this.

I was wondering yesterday, while spitting out bits of mud, whether anyone sells a rubberised "lid" to pop on top of the nozzles of your existing bottles.

Could sell a pack of a few in slightly different sizings to account for varying nozzle dimensions.

Someone should suggest it to Peaty. He's already got it designed but the prototypes are a little small... 😉
