You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I reckon this is how it's going to stay. You can tear it apart all you like, I love it! Total cost about £485. This is what my main bike should always have been - short travel XC FS but with just enough capability to have some fun on. My perfect trail bike. Rather heavy though, but blinging it up will have to wait.

PS not my driveway or garage
Looks good. Actually for that money it looks better than good.
Whats the fork offset? 😀
Can't you tell? 🙂
Frame was basically good as new, the wheels were actually new I think and the forks were in great nick. The drive train and brakes are ten years old mind 🙂
Don't need to bling it, just get ride of 2 of those chainrings... 😉
See my 1x thread the other day? 🙂 I actually did remove them for 1x9 but then realised I'd probably lose the chain all the time.
It's on the cards. Didn't want to 1x the last one but this will benefit from it. Pocket money took a hit when building it so I'll save up.
The thing is heavy so I'll want to save as much as I can. May go for XTR. I have some Hope hubs I'll lace onto carbon rims when I can afford it.
