Ive bought some Clarks M2 brakes and the rear needs a bleed. Easy enough, but the bleed port on the calliper is too large for the screw-in style bleed kit nipple thingies that Ive got. Pic below.

Annoyingly, they fit the bleed port on the lever reservoir (same size as Avids and my Reverb) - why on earth they wouldnt be the same size is beyond me.

Anyone know where I can get a larger size attachment, or an adapter or ideas for a bodge that might work?

We're currently working on changing out Clarks bleed kit to make it compatible with the latest M2 model. We do have the larger adaptors in stock and we should have the kit ready by the end of next week.

There will also be a bleed guide for the M2. If you need something sorting before then please get in touch with us via the website.

Thanks Alex. I've managed a shocking bodge by cutting down an old cable stop adjuster wrapped in plumbers tape. Mineral oil everywhere but enough up the spout to get some action from the brakes, and Ive advanced the pistons so they're working pretty well.

Hi there,

7 months on and I've got the same query. I had a look on http://www.epicbleedsolutions.com/products/bleed-kits/clarks/ but there's no mention of M2 that I can see.

Any help or hints appreciated.

Cheers, al.
