Has any body bought these, there only 4.99 a pack - i want to trial foam grips but wondered if anyone has used them and how they would fair up for the type of riding i do. Little XC/freeride

i have used the clarks one. very comfy, but take a fair bit of water on in the rain.

No better than a decent pair of kraton rubber grips and a light but firm hold on the bars.

+1 for them holding water in the wet, and they'll slide all over on your bars unless you glue them on.

Foam grips went out with Noah's Ark and the Pyramids.

yes mate, i like em rather than any loc on type grip.
esi chunky are luxury tho.

Do Superstarcomponents still do two pairs for £6.99?

Thats what I use and so long as you use hairspray or some other kind of adhesive, I've had no issue wet weather or not.

When you wear gloves, I find them fine and wouldn't bother going back to rubber grips.
