Just wondering if the claris 2400 and Tiagra 4700 flat levers are the same? Anyone know? Looking to respec my Aether as I've given up on drop bars and these caught my eye, figure I may as well do something right (flinging my EA50's from my DH bike on as a stop gap)

Claris is basically re-tooled Sora 8 speed innit? Flat bar levers should be much of a muchness though shouldn't they? Or are 4700 a different cable pull?

Nope, they're both multi pivot jobs for V, road or disc and are visually identical barring Claris is silver and Tiagra black. The Tiagras are discontinued which is what made me think they had just trickled down.
