Looking at a Giant Invite 2 2017 that's currently as stock, barely used and a bit of a bargain.
It's got Tektro discs and 2x8 Claris.
I've got spare 8sp shifter and v-brake flat bar levers, and spare flat bar.
Am I daft to consider a flat bar conversion?
No, you're not, it'll work fine.
Brake lever pull will Shirley be too far (proper levers cheap tho) and TT 3cm ISH shorter than the equivalent flat bar frame I think.
Matt I think I have some road pull flat levers. Want me to look?
Ok, so frame size may be an issue.
Brake levers aren't a problem to find different pulls.
Thanks Josh, I think I'm ok at the moment (recykabike at the end of the office car park helps...).
