Given the rear mtb hub a quick clean out. The rubber ring that sits on top of the bearing under the free hub (accessible when you pull free hub off) appears to have enlarged and not sit flush any more. Any idea what it is called and who sells a replacement?

Thanks in advance

I guess you're talking about the flat seal under the snap ring in the big bearing in the hub shell, bromley bike should be able to sort you out although I couldn't find them on their website. I think AVT in the states sell them in a kit.

Hmmm, sounds right but there was no snap ring. The seal came off when I pulled the free hub out. Was in the kitchen so would have seen / heard it if it had pinged off somewhere.
