New bling Orange5 frame & fork arriving soon. Old Orange5 will become the missus'ss's so got to get all new drivetrain. Got some hope hoops on order. But what to choose for crank & cassette setup?
I definitely don't need 3x up front, so I was assuming 2x10. But do many get away with 1x10 for uk XC. What do the ratios feel like on a Zee 1x10 compared to the XT 2x10? 1x would be nice and simple but I reckon I'll run out of granny gear on anything resembling a major climb....
