Has anyone had a Solar Storm 2 head unit pack up? I've had a couple of chargers go pop and it'll cost me at least £30 for a new battery.

So am I throwing good money after bad or is the light unit itself worth keeping going but with a better battery?

Alternative is to spend £76 on a MTB Batteries Lumen 800.

Yeah, but I've not had a happy experience with cheap batteries and chargers.

Anyway, I've just ordered some a new battery off Torchy and C&B Seen have sent me a new charger.

Yeah, but I've not had a happy experience with cheap batteries and chargers despite the light itself being quite good.
