Been given a Chinese T6 LED light because it supposedly doesn't charge. When the charger is all plugged in properly it shows a green steady light but an orange/red light flashes as well. Is this the norm or is it an indication that something is amiss. It is sitting happily on the lawn at the end of a long extension with a RCB in the system. Just in case.
I had a similar problem with mine. It came with two chargers, a UK one and an EU one. The UK charger doesn't charge and the LED is as you have described. Check on ebay for another charger.

TBH, I'd suspect the battery myself, as they don't tend to be the best quality. What has your mate replaced his T6 with?
