Guys & Girls,
I’m after a rigid fork for my on-one inbred 29er which I use for training rides (mainly road)/ commuting.
I need 1 1/8” straight steerer, 15mm thru axle and disk mount. I’d also like an A2C around the same as my current 120mm x-fusions that they will replace.
The closest thing I have found that ticks all the essential boxes are these:

My main question is, will I be dead by a a week on Tuesday? I can’t see me doing any uplift days on this bike but at the same time, I don’t want to have to avoid dropping down that lovely set of steps on my training loop in fear of losing my teeth/ face skin.
If so, any alternative recommendations?
Cheers,
Marc.
I wouldn't worry about it.
Plenty of off-brand Chinese-made carbon forks are purchased from eBay, yet reports about them breaking due to manufacturing defects are quite rare.
These? They might be a bit shorter than you x-fusions though.

I'm running a very similar fork on my B+ Pact, and have done for a couple of years. I was similarly concerned at first but then I saw the identical fork specced on one of Shands hardtails (though, TBF. theirs was in a nicer colour 🙂 )
Been using one on my el mariachi for about 3yrs now
Look for a 2nd genesis tarn fork.
