Haha, I looked at the link, but declined to comment.

Not sure, don't immediately recognise it. JB01 throws up various pictures online which don't look like that frame - couple of aero ones etc.

It's unusually slab sided for a road frame, I actually thought It was an MTB frame. Claimed weight is good, without being terrifying! My Deng Fu FM208 wasn't much lighter, and was a chunk more expensive.

UK based is interesting, bit odd that's their only item and haven't sold in the last 12 months, Google doesn't throw up anything on the seller. I wonder, given their classification as demos, if its a Ribble-esque outlet offloading some 'trial' frames.

Not entirely sure I'd trust it without any providence, but doubt you'll die!

I most certaanly will die! 😀

I am tempted, but it might be shite, I suppose if they are a trader I have DSR or its equivalent to fall back on.

I wouldn't - there are plenty of good Chinese retailers with demonstrable history but frames are typically £300+ so this seems too cheap to be true...

Not sure about DSR via eBay, not sure you're covered as they're not a registered eBay shop.

Pretty sure that DSR still applies if they are a shop - and unless the seller is claiming it's a private sale, that's what they are...

But what is there to say they're a shop? I don't think it's all that clear. It appears to be a private eBay account selling effectively second hand stuff BIN.

Well if they tried to claim not to be then you'd set inland revenue on them or at least threaten it.

Could be a hacked account..... Personally I'd only risk it if your paying by credit card or contact the seller to see if you can collect it and pay in cash.

DSR doesn't apply, because DSR no longer exists.

Buy it with Paypal, file a not as described if it isn't right & send it back, simple. Doesn't matter if they are a business or not Paypal will refund. Most you can loose is return postage. I've seen similar priced carbon on sale planet x etc though.

Rubbish, you'd not get away with selling that as a bike in that case.

Look suspiciously like some work I did for a client for a 'marginal gains' project a few years back - the road versions were built and never ridden as far as I know - the track ones how ever are a different story...

I've got a flyxii frame & forks in my loft gathering dust that'd be much cheaper than that

A bit of digging if anybody is interested.

Etailsport seem to be registered at the same London street address as RSI Cycles - who are the UK distributor for Ambrosio.

Philip Maurice Merody appears to be the man behind it if anybody knows this name.

I have deal't with RSI over the passed 15 years or so, sometimes dealing with Philip Merody. I have had no problems to date.
