Considering a set of these to replace my superstar crests, has anyone got a pair and what are your thoughts? Had a quick search but didn't find too many reviews on here.

I've got some, they were from Light-Bicycle. Mine are the wide 29er version. I only got them built up last week so i've only done one ride on them so far but first impressions are good. They cost around £250 for the pair including import taxes.
Weight wise they were 382g and 388g which is similar to Crests i think. I used the stans yellow tape and a valve exactly the same as i've done in the past on Crests and they went up tubeless real easy with Nobby Nics. There wasn't the loud cracking noise as the tyres seated like you get with Stans rims but i'm very impressed so far.
Also Light-Bicycle were very good to deal with, it was just the customs that held things up.
Edit: If you do a search on mtbr theres a huge thread on the subject

I think it was about 2 weeks wait before they despatched them but that was something to do with swapping the design of them. They then took about 3 day's to get from China to Coventry parcel force depot and about 4 weeks to get from Coventry to Derbyshire! Customs held them up for some reason but there wasn't any problems. Just had to pay around £22 to get them released.

I have using a set of the Lightbike wide 29er rims since September last year. I built them onto Hope hubs. Before built into a wheel they feel a lot stiffer than a Crest rim. They built up easy enough. I use Bontrager rim strips in them, and they work really well tubeless, I have used them with Schwalbe and SpecIalized tyres.

I have done quite a few miles on them, including one 12 hour race, and so far they have stayed totally true.

When I ordered they had the ones I wanted in stock, so they turned in about 10 days I think.

There is a really big thread on MTBR about them.

ssboggy, looks like Customs are rather fond of mine too... Two days china to Coventry, then they've been scanned in a number of times by customs!

There's 15% off today in the Farsports web shop on Aliexpress
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/103713, they claim to deliver within 10 days (customs notwithstanding obviously). Just ordered some 700c tubs so we'll see what happens...

Got mine today, a little heavier than is expected, but still lighter than my crests on superstar hubs. 770 and 980g without tape or valves. Sooo much wider, seem stiff and well made. Flat bladed spokes, 142x12 hubs with s steel freehub body and a 15mm front, nice looking wheels! Tubeless installation has stalled, astyres seem loose in the centre well, but not had a proper go at it yet! More to follow...
