We're looking to either a trailer or a seat for our little one for non offroad forest/reservoir path cycling.
Have seen a burley and understand that they may the the top dog? Prob choose a hamax seat.

What are people's recommendations for trailers? Something that folds down would be needed, 2 seats, sturdy and lightweight and not look like a pig!

There's a Burley D lite on eBay I'm watching.

We went for a Hamax seat rather than a trailer for road and gentle forest paths. Chose this as although the roads round me are quiet, they are narrow with high hedges and we were not comfortable with having the trailer low down and out of sight. Having said that we also have a cheap trailer we got from e bay which we will likely use in different circumstances.

i have both,my wee girl is a bit big for the trailer but still fun.she enjoys both and the trailer is handy if the kids fancy a wee nap, only problem i found was on canal paths some of the gates are locked so you have a fair bit to lift were as the seat is easy just to guide the bike round the entrance.

Sorry for the blatant plug here, but I have a Co Pilot Taxi child seat with Blackburn rack for sale in the classifieds if you're interested. One careful lady owner (now aged nearly 4) etc...
