A big lad in the office is trying to eat as many Chicken nuggets as he can in an hour.... (we are very bored here today)

How many do you reckon he'll do ?

If they are from Macy D's I would say loads, you can nail those buggers so quickly

I recon he will feel sick at about 40 but push on towards 60 😉

having read some of these records I feel quite ill;

http://www.ifoce.com/records.php

80 chicken nuggests in 5 minutes.

6 pounds of baked beans in 1 min 48 seconds = uuurgh.

He's not called Chef for nothing.

There have been some silly prices from 65 to 200.

I've sold them at 105... @ £1 a nugget

I worked out 100 nuggets is roughly 1.7kgs of nuggets.

Don't think I've got much down side

yeah i'd say around 55ish too. they're bigger than you think - around a bite and a half to two bites, it all adds up.

around a bite and a half to two bites

I think for the people who do well in these sorts of contest biting and chewing is not something they bother with.

There are 200 nuggets on his desk... although they are in their boxes... I think they should be laid out on one big plate.

They are macdonald nuggets... he has various dips and is allow to drink water... no chucking but he can p00 ( obviously that will eat into his time)

About 20, maybe 30. A mate and I each ordered the biggest box of Nuggets they do - think it's 24. It's a lot harder to get through than you'd think. We'd both given up before the box was empty.

edite - in response to wasnotwas:
no agreed, but he doesn't sound like a record breaking type. in which case you can't swallow them without chewing a few times, and it would be quicker to do one in two goes than put it all in your mouth in one go and break it down, i reckon!

People often express disgust at the idea of kissing a heavy smoker. I've no experience, but I suspect I feel slightly the same about someone capable of eating 80 chicken nuggests in 5 minutes. And you'd inevitably be a bit worried that she'd get peckish and eat your tongue, really quickly and without enjoyment.

They are roughly 200 cal per 4 nugs... so 100 nugs is...... 5000 cal !!

But it's the weight 1.7kgs that about 3 3/4 lb... what the size of an average steak??... 8oz

Surely your body would just reject the lot of it, it would probably use about 5000 calories trying to digest it all.

A mate of mine was goaded into doing 10 double cheeseburgers in the office. He duly obliged (in under 30 mins)and was then called an animal by one of the girls who had egged him on in the first place.

He lost his mind!

It's all over

He slowed right up (as someone suggested here.. well played sir )

in the end....

65

He honestly thought he was going to do loads more than that... and the book closed at 90-5.

SO happy days for me... what bike bling can I buy for 40 quid ?

Flipped his lid basically.
I think he was angered that, (in his words) he was asked to prove his eating prowess, and upon doing so, was described as an animal!

The Monday after the friday afternoon nugget fest.

The Chef didn't feel too bad, he's stomach and ar5e were ok over the weekend.

He did however feel "really down and sad" yesterday. 😥

Not sure we are going to be able to talk him into this fridays Bakewell Tart Extraviganza

Ahhh the notorious nugget comedown!!!

Fair play though to the big lad, he fought the nuggets but ultimately it was in vain. The synthetic breadcrumbs and mechanically recovered chicken were all too much....

It's now time to move on...Bring on the Bakewells!!!

You could also try the Ferrero rocher challenge.
How many can you eat in a minute, you can unwrap them first but no drinks to wash them down, office record is 8 in 40 seconds, (we had already ate the other 4 out of the box so were limited in what we could do.)

For those not into eating mechanically covered meat you could do a 'how many nuggets in my mouth at once' type thing? At least you can spit them oput afterwards.

Hell no, the patients bring in biscuits and sweets for the staff, we get sent boxes of stuff all the time to stop the radiographers getting fat.
