hope your all doing well and ready for christmas!
Just a question for any Cheltenham based riders. I have been riding a couple year mainly at Cranham and cleeve hill.
Haven't been out for a while due to injury, laziness and other sport commitments for thought in the new year I need to get out more.
Just wondered what conditions were like at the above, and if you could reccomend anywhere else to try out near by?
unless it is very cold or dry don't bother with Cranham.
We went up lecky the other day. Go up by Crippetts farm, hang a left off the road after a steep climb onto tracks, through a horse field, then cut through the woods and a field to the A40, then on to the Star College. Go down past the college, and up along by the golf course, brings you out on Hartley Lane. Then across to top of Lecky. Then down some of the DH track to Daisybank, over the main road, down the little path to the pay as you train gym, then back for a coffee. My directions aren't the best, but might get you somewhere. Lost maybe?
Conditions were pretty good, but some of the trails are a bit ****ed. But been like that a while. Wasn't particularly mucky.
