Carbon ideal but to be honest they aint going to be cheap are they?
Really for a 26'er - for a rigid mtb commuter/mountain bike build so cheap and lightish if possible?
carboncycles.cc is the standard answer.
They do alloy too if cheapness is the priority!
Random stuff off eBay. Dirt cheap if you don't need disc mounts.
eXotic from CarbonCycles. Super comfortable.
On One have carbon ones for 99 quid. I'm thinking of getting some.

if you can work out the colour to pic combination let me know!
As said the exotic carbon are the ones .. I looked at on one but good deal heavier iirc..
I bought both my carbon exotic forks second hand around £60
Plenty of stuff on evilbay, You can get the Alu'Mosso'forks new for about £45 and they are reasonable light and have decent reviews.
Loads of 2nd Hand stuff obviously no ideas on weight but here's a selection:-

Last one is for a 29er so could always make a 69er,
I've had a Mosso on my commuter for a few years now. Does the job.
Try Rock N Roll Cycles (Onza) in Nottingham, although their site seems to be down at the moment.
