Hi all,

Firstly, I know this will have been asked before, but I genuinely cannot find any threads about this, searched for ages.

Anyway, need to post some RS Pikes soon. What's the best company to use, with a decent price and service, as well as insurance up to ~£200?

Thanks, Duane.

Just had a look on Parcelforce, guaranteed 48hr, £200 compensation, and they pick up for about £11 +VAT. Can that be beat?

I recently used p4d to ship an iMac and they very good. Whether it will be cheaper, you will just have to use the quote tool on the site.

...fwiw 15% off Parcel Force Code: AAKT

Also, don't forgot your local post office can do Parcel Force.

I sent some from the post office, not sure which method and even if they were covered, only 100 quids worth, £8.80. Think you have found the best deal already!

I would have recommended parcel monkey or parcel2go but for insurance they can get expensive now. One used to be £1 per £100 cover but I think it changed.

Also for anyone sending a laptop they don't cover screen damage.

So...I think Parcelforce is qctually competitive these days if you need insurance etc. Just use the other couriers if you have something not too valuable or breakable.
