Evans probably as cheap as that, we seem to be doing good prices on m8000 stuff currently.
My basket at CRC has a shifter / mech / cassette in for £155, and they've even got the I-Spec B shifter in stock. MUST RESIST.
Chain as well i would suggest.
I can only get this to £173 on chain reaction.
Maybe the cheaper price is if you go 40t cassette wise and Ispec B.
£176 at Evans - including a chain
"Half" that if you have Tesco vouchers 🙂

I can't find the mt8000 chain on Evans
Ultegra 6800 Chain is the same one as XT
Ah cheers mate
They don't have that either. Hmmm have to get the chain from elsewhere if you do it.
That pushes it above CRC then.
Food for thought.

Though if you're just after the cheapest deal, why bother 😆
my LBS did it for £185, fitted - how much do you value your time?
Depends how far away your lbs is to me.. 🙂
£157 for everything except the chainset.
I'd consider this - lighter, much the same price, better range

£15 (i.e. 24%) more expensive, plus the cost of a new freehub (if, indeed, there's one available for your wheelset)

It's including a chain, though, so not really £15 more.
Freehub depends - same cost if you're building with new hubs/wheels. Agree it's not that cost effective on existing hubs, but it is better functionally.
I guess it'll be a while before we get any idea of comparative longevity

@goldigger - touche, but yours might do the same?
I wouldn't trust halfords with a ice cream.
Leisure wheels I swore never to go in again after the bullocks they came out with last time i was in there looking at kids bikes.
To fit a cassette/chain/shifter and rear mech means an hour at most not watching the wife's crap on TV...bonus if it takes longer..
