Reverb £160 bike discount. Full retail bleed kit etc.
Thanks! What does the MMX bit refer to?
Generally if you're a right handed do you have a RH lever?
I believe the MMX refers to the bracket that will allow you to hang the lever off of an SRAM brake lever.
Many people use the right hand lever under the left hand side to keep it tucked out of the way.
I use the right hand lever on the right and love it.
All reverbs come with the MMX, it is removable if you are not using matchmakers.
Most people use a r/h button mounted left under bar. This keeps it safer from damage. Also mounting on the left is best as it means if you need to compromise the position of the shifter it is the one that you use least (assuming a 2x or 3x set up), if you are running 1x then you have no shifter on the left anyway so more bar space for the button.
Aha! Interesting ...
I do have old Avid Elixir CR's .. Is there any particular advantage to getting matchmaker thingies for them if I can?
Next question .. What seat post size do I have on my Intense Tracer VP?! It's at home and I'm sat at work with an itchy left mouse button finger and a credit card..
My intense's (uzzi , ss, tazer) have a 31.6 mm seatpost.

Less clutter on the bars, and if using a l/h shifter (2x/3x set ups)then it would probably mean you need to compromise the shifter position less, though I'd assume you'd need to run the reverb button on top of the bars in its intended position as the matchmaker is set up to run like that (though looking sat pics it may be on at least some Avids that a r/h button can be run under bar with a l/h mmx set up here).
Are you 1x or 2/3x? If 1x I'd definitley not bother with the mmx and run a r/h reverb button on the left under bar.
Deffo 31.6mm post as all Intenses are especially of this era onwards.
Thanks peeps. I'm running 2X - not sure if I can be bothered faffing with matchmaker thingies. Think if I get one I'll try the RH shifter on the left.
