Looking for some 29x2.2 Ikons.Spec as follows:3C compound,EXC casing(not EXO).This is the light 520 gram model.Phew! So many models! Cheapest i have seen is £43 each (!).Any deals about?

We actually have a new pair of these going (I think)
They are brand new - were fitted to wheels I built up indoors (with tubes) but never ridden - they were going to go on my wife's new SS (being built up) but she wanted mud tyres on there instead, so I'm sure she'd sell them for a good price...
If you're interested, I'll check the sidewalls tonight to see if they are the model you want (from memory I think it says both "EXC and EXO" on them...)

That would be great Jim.They need to have EXC and 3C on the sidewall.Not really after the EXO version (tougher sidewall but heavier),but will consider them.

These do have the EXO protection, so might not be what you want. Here's a pic:

I checked the order and they were over £50 each from Just Riding Along (aye carumba! - that's more than our car tyres!) so we'd be looking for somewhere around £65 + postage for the pair, as they are basically brand new.
