As above!

Fed up with my iPhone 5 dying with upwards of 40-50% battery life in these cooler temperatures. Not after a fancy/expensive Garmin due to being skint just after Christmas.

Any advice!? What do people out there use successfully and recommend in these chilly riding conditions??

Ross

Check your battery isn't one of those dodgy ones that Apple are replacing under warranty.

As you don't mention a budget:

I'd just buy a Garmin Edge 200 for £70ish quid. Second hand be even cheaper.

If you get no warranty joy...3 of us at work bought new batteries from eBay, they were like £3 each. I haven't fitted mine yet but the other two haven't exploded so I'm thinking about fittin mine!

Just about any Cheap old android phone off ebay so long as it has GPS, minus the sim card it's basically all you need, set it going, shove it in a baggy and upload via WiFi when you get home...
