Hi all,

Just wondering if I could get some recommendations for some CHEAP

12x142mm rear
12mm front
700c
11 speed compatible
TUBELESS wheels? Looking to spend as little as possible. Will spend 90% of time in London so don't need to be super strong.

Cheers 🙂

i've seen a few fulcrum deals recently and one for planetX

i just got an odd pair of dt swiss wheels from Merlin cycles, width and bladed versus jbend rear spokes, they come taped, although you'll need one valve.

a p 1800 front wheel 19mm internal width £65 is more road orientated
https://www.merlincycles.com/dt-swiss-p-1800-spline-32-stealth-disc-road-wheel-700c-262023.html

and a gravel LN £99 24mm width (star ratchett hub DT350
https://www.merlincycles.com/dt-swiss-ln-gravel-disc-rear-wheel-700c-262050.html

£164 less £10 of loyalty points.

setting them up this week so can report how easy they are to setup,

Stealth ad - I've got a pair of (unbranded) WTB i19/Formula 6 bolt wheels taken off a Cannondale. Unmarked and only used for about 250 miles. 19mm internal - should take up to 35mm tyres, I would think. maybe 38mm.

Almost any old 29er/wideish 700c rim will do the job. Of the 8 pairs I have set up only 3 are tubeless designed. If in doubt another layer of Tesa tape will sort any leaks.

I've been using the rear https://www.merlincycles.com/pro-build-chosen-hub-alex-volar-trail-wheels-29-82077.html on my Marasa for about a month with q/r, but also bought the bolt thru end cap adaptors so I could use it on the road bike, no complaints so far.
