I know On-one Inbred is good VFM but what/who makes a good slackish HT frame in XS - 13 or 14" for the same money?
Project build for daughters birthday.

As you say you'll be pushed to find anything as good value as this

I love mine

Commencal El Camino. [s]There were some available direct a while ago.[/s] Just had a look - none now 🙁
The stw inspired 'rush' recently must have cleared them out.

I have got a 16" On one scandal hanging from the garage wall - which sounds a bit large but it is 13" center to center if I recall so the stand over is pretty good.
mail me if interested 🙂

Inbred is 100mm to 120mm travel.

456 is 100mm to 150mm travel forks. Much slacker.

I have a one off Zero TR in baby blue that might suit the bill- Slack and low... email me on ben@birdmtb.co.uk if you're interested. Will be a bit more than an inbred, but a one off in a great colour (and much lighter too!).

Not particularly slack, but 13" and £91 delivered.

So Daughter #2 got her Cube Access and I built it up with SLX and a set of Marzocchi ZE forks - very happy wee bunny...

Currently building an Inbred for/with my lad, but can't see him having the balls to ride those steps just yet!

Mind you, my kids frequently amaze and - sometimes - delight me....

Kids bounce... I definitely make a "thud" nowadays with little to no rebound.

Still to start building the one I got for the girlfriend

I used a ritchey zero logic 1 1/8.

I also got HT II and Alivio cranks for the weight, but smaller cranks are available if you use sq taper.

Other wise it's a great looking bike, I'll get a better shot off it and post up.

Not sure on sizing but have you looked at the Dartmoor Primal/ Hornet?

Really nicely made alu frames and pretty cheap too.

Slam69 is their Uk importer. The Dartmoor site has all the sizing/ geo info.
