The ancient Continental Mountain King 2.2s on my singlespeed hack are just about done so looking for something to replace them.

Ideally after a lightweight all-rounder, nothing bigger than a 2.2, doesn't need to be great in gloom but ok for damp Surrey stuff, quite fast-rolling.

Found the Michelin Wild Race'R at On-One for £13 so that's a starting point. Anything else out there on a clearance sale?

Classifieds here.
I have been given my last few 26" tyres, off neighbours and club members disposing of them...

I’ve got some mountain kings for sale if you are interested. They are the protection version. Brought them as spares for the West Highland Way but didn’t require them and don’t have much use for them otherwise

Geax Saguaros from on one if they still do them. Kings amongst Tyres those lads.

Interesting - I had some Geax before, the ones that looked like Specialized Eskars, and hated them! They were 2.3 on a narrow Mavic 17mm internal rim though, so just felt unstable. Liking the look of the £20 Ground Controls though, cheers!
