So, just bought my tickets for the UCI DH World Cup in June, need to keep the weekend as cheap as possible (within reason) so does anyone have any good recommendations for camp sites/bunk houses etc. Ideally a camp site with half decent facilities (shower etc) as close as possible to the Gondola as possible!

Any help or suggestions much appreciated 🙂

Andy

All of the nearby campsites will be very busy that weekend. And all of them may have midgies.

The Glen Nevis campsite is nice enough, a big site with decent facilities. And also the Lochy Holiday Park, at Camaghael, its a bit closer to Nevis Range.

I think there's usually a basic campsite at Torlundy Farm for the world cup weekend, though I don't know what that's like.

If Alan Kimbers place (Calluna, above) is full, then Bank Street Lodge in Ft William itself is close and pretty good, been there many times, as is Aite Cruidicchd.... - http://www.independenthostelguide.co.uk/selected-accommodation.php?hostel=142 and http://www.bankstreetlodge.co.uk/
