Spoilers?

Either way, no, cycling gear is so much nicer and the cut would be crap.

Remember to buy one at least one size too small for you.

Cycling gear is generally grossly overpriced poor quality tat. Football shirts, depending on manufacturer, can be really good quality, hardwearing and great value. Adidas in particular is generellay good quality.

Really, you think? I've only got one jersey that I'm not really a fan of and that's a 5 year old ultra low end dhb jersey. The current dhb stuff plus random 'in the sale' stuff on wiggle and crc is about the same price as a football jersey and will do a much better job. It's the right shape for a start.

Really, you think?

I'm afraid so, based on 25+ years of buying stuff. Much of the 'cycling' stuff i've had has worn out very quickly, and been pretty poor value for money. Wheras I have football tops I use to ride in, dating back to the early 90's. A rummage round Sports Direct etc can reveal some great bargains, as long as you don't mind wearing an Olympiakos third away kit or similar!

Yep me too. Adidas makes good tops.

They tried to get into mtb. Bear'cluff wore tops for them. Think its bloody good stuff and jogging for 90mins in a top is better proof than an easy workout on a bike as you heat up more running..
