Evening all, my brother in law has just sent me a message asking if he knows where he could get some bikes.
After a few questions we've ascertained:
1 adult bike for a bloke that's 5' 10
1 bike for his teenage son whom is about the same height
1 bike for my sister whom is 5' 2 on a good day
He's thinking of attaching a tag along to his for his younger son whom is autistic and can't ride.
They're going to be ridden on cycle paths, Tissington Trail, that type of thing.
Budget......is fairly none existent 🤦♂️ (they've had a very tough year financially due to Covid)
What sort of options are there for say £100 a pop? Are there any bike charity type places that supply cheap bikes in these circumstances? I haven't got anything myself to donate, nor do I have the spare money to buy them anything myself unfortunately.
They're Staffordshire based.
Bike charities that recycle/do up old bikes would be a good shout.
Like this? They're based in Stafford.

Retro is the way to go. For best value look at Saracen, Raleigh, Diamond Back, Ridgeback, etc. You should be able to find a very tidy example of any of those, with decent groupset for sub £100. Stick a wanted ad on Retrobike.co.uk and I'm sure someone will sort you out with some decent bikes.
