Ive built quiet a few Chinese cheap road bikes and had some STUNNING results over the years.
But what about the MTB Chinese Carbon frames?
Anyone here got one? How tough are they (or Carbon in general) for MTB's ?
All the 29er ones are great I know lots with them no probs with them.
This is my latest china full suss 29er 21.7 lb so not to bad

Looks awesome!
Beyond ugly. Seriously, only ride that thing at night it is an abomination.
Must admit that does look a bit..... well.......strange.
How does it ride and how much was it?
There needs to be a rule on here that if you discuss your Chinese carbon frame, you have to say which one it is and who from so that people can follow up on it 🙂
I'm considering an Ican AC039 having got one of their disc cx frames.
I'm with clubbier on this! Details people!
Been looking myself at a 29er hard tail or a 26" full Suss (use current as a donor)
But 2 things always crop up:
1. Where to buy from, so real world info is invaluable
2. How can I get a 29er frame, wheels and forks for less than the cost of a on one lurcher x5 full build. It needs to be £500 max to make any sense really.
Been visiting the hong fu site and the ican site, any others worth a visit? Been on some and the general quality looked rough at the edges.
Cheers
