Regrettably my Race Face Ambush shorts are a little on the tight side at the moment, so need to size up for a few months.

Cotton shorts miserable in winter.

I see a lot of cheap baggys on Amazon. False economy, or cheap and cheerful.

Recommendations from people who own. Recommend yer own shorts STWers.

Would prefer under 30 quid, would go to 40.

Cheers, Alex

Decathlon for cheap baggies.
Cut off army /RAF gortex for chaep waterproof baggies, ideally bought in a bit too at they are a bit too loose fitting.

Did you tailor them in yourself or get a pro to do it? I’d worry about wrecking the waterproofing etc

Dakine ones on sportspursuit

(Meaning Sportpursuit.com in case you're unaware of em.)
They have more than Dakine and Alpinestars. Definitely worth a (logon and) browse.
ION, Gore, Endura. Just gotta find your size 🙂

Sombrio HANDS down are THE BEST quality.

My RF Ambush shorts are far too loose around my waist and are essentially new so yeah...

Good range of Madison shorts on Freewheel. Singletrack subscribers get 20% off this month.

I've just bought a pair of DTE waterproof trousers with a nice discount.

ST900 from Decathlon for £30. I bought them after being off the bike for a year until I can fit back in my Endura kit
