I can't afford gears or a s****y steel (let alone Ti!) SS frame, so alu it is.
Anyone know of any? Currently doing the old r.mech trick but it's not very mud-proof, is wasted weight ( 😮 ) and looks naff!

There used to be a Dawes, but you can get an Inbread cheaply. Or use a half-link chain.
I have a Dawes Edge One which cost £350 for a complete bike about seven years ago. Not sure it was ever available just as a frame though.
Hard to beat the On-One steel frame for value.
