Hi, I bled a pike charger damper many moons ago and I seem to remember I needed a special bleed port adaptor. Now have a boxxer and I am presuming the process is the same, but do I need a special tool or will a standard bleed kit suffice?
I bought a bleed kit from Epic for £18, I don't know how special it is, but I fancied it wasn't good to mix even trace amount of Dot fluid and suspension oil
Cheers ok. Just that I have the appropriate weight oil at home. 18 quid plus postage for a little adaptor for something i may do once maybe aint worth it
Charger bleed adapter top, Charger 2 bleed adapter bottom.
2 is the same as Reverb and Sram brakes

Cheers ok, need the proper one then!
If you have a syringe you can buy just the adapter for £10, with a syringe for £14

Iv'e bled mine a few times after playing around with the shim stack without any special tools. Just carefully cycle the shaft whilst dripping oil into the top of the bladder unit. When it wont compress the tinyest amount without discharging any oil and no air bubbles its bled.
also be aware that one of the charger dampers gets filled from a bleed port in the side of the cartridge not through the top after removing circlips.. so dont go yanking on the wrong bit.. ask me how i know 2018 fyi.
