Fitted new one to my Yaris. Working fine. After a couple of hours riding I noticed the damper didn't seem to be working. Removed the lower legs and all the oil from the damper ran out (it's red). Blue seal and some washer were at the bottom of the leg.
How did this happen? Manufacturing fault?

No idea but Red oil is usually ATF. Automatic transmission fluid. I think the technical term is it's shat its guts outs.
