Sorry if this is been done, but I couldn’t find a thread via the search function.

I’ve been charged twice by Strava last month. Two £44.99 stravacom withdrawals on my bank account, taken three days apart.
This appears to be a very common problem according to google, but Strava are impossible to communicate with.
I’ve opened a ticket via their customer service portal, but over a month later still haven’t received anything beyond an automated response saying they’re ‘very busy’.

No response to Twitter or FB either.

Some googler’s mention the double billing being linked to apple or google pay, but my Strava has never been linked to either of those.

Has anyone else been charged twice, either this year or in the past? If so, did you ever get your money back? Did Strava reply before you turned to stone?

It’s really odd that it’s happened but Strava’s frankly p*as poor customer service is beginning to wind me up a bit!

Can't help regarding the double billing problem and can only suggest taking it up with your bank.

Your experience of lack of response to the ticket you raised with Strava is totally consistent with my own. I've had a ticket outstanding for 2 months and no reply other than "sorry we're busy" but then another  that says if I don't reply to the post within 2 days they will close the ticket. What a load of crap.

This happened to me, but over 14 months. I know it was stupid I didn't see it earlier, one was taken at start of month, the other at the end. I just presumed it was the next months payments, but then finally realised I had paid twice.
It was very difficult to prove, they kept saying it hadn't happened. I sent bank statements etc, but to no avail. In the end I gave up and they didn't return any money 🙁
