Very comfy for £18 - I have a spesh Henge on my other bike, but for me, the Charge is more comfortable.

Haha yeah it seems to be something that goes hand in hand....
It seems to be a great saddle, I had been using an I-beam SDG one for ages as I always seemed to bend rail saddles. Needed rails for my LEV post though so went for the Spoon, idea being that it was such good value that if I bent it it'd be cheap to replace. As it turns out, it's really comfy and hasn't bent one bit yet. Buy one!
Madison flux is pretty much the same saddle, same hull, rails, stitching, for when you can't get the right Spoon at the right price. Gusset R is also the same, but all glued rather than stitched. Handy if tatty stitching is why you bin a saddle.
Yup. Gusset R also has the advantage of some excellent colourschemes (if you're in Def Leppard)
(or the Bay City Rollers)
Not all glued btw, the boring colours are but the comedy ones are stitched.
Someone did a PSA the other day, cheap Spoons- and one of the strange things about Spoononomics is that I sold mine used for more than I paid for it. I liked it well enough, still got one on the commuter but found it a bit wide for me.

All different saddles on different bikes. Fair to say that I love the shape and it suits me! Cheap and light(ish) too.

POSTED 1 HOUR AGO # REPORT-POST
Had my leather Ti one for a few years done loads of miles in it, must be 50+ a week. Had the cheaper ones before and they were good too. All of mine the stitching has worked lose on the back left edge but this has not really effected them.
I've got 3 of 'em. The last one I bought, cheapy black version about 18 months ago, was really sticky when new and would 't let go of my shorts. Nearly had me off the bike once or twice. Fine now the surface has smoothed off a bit. Anyone else notice this?
The answer the OP, I don't have a custom one (bit spendy for me at the moment), but I do have two spoons and a knife, including a Surface edition (black with a nice blue base). No decent photos but the Surface is currently on my BFe (will probably end up on the CX bike or hardtail which are black/blue and blue/white respectively).
Loving the variety of bikes that the spoon is on.
😀 What makes the knife slightly more pricey?
Is it just the Ti rails?
2 Knives and a Spoon - would love a "Surface" edition - which bike to put it on though????

That a bit less padding, they aren't as robust as spoons. Mine flexed in the middle and gouged out a hole in the plastic underside from the seatpost bolt, but then I am a bit of a fat knacker. I find the Spoon comfier.
Green 29r bloody sweet hummerlicious!
Thanks Giantx4, I can't get enough of it, I hardly ride the others at the moment!
Black rims, stainless spokes.....always does it for me!!"
thanks Lambchop.. I love it too 😀
Can anybody tell me if the brown leather/ti version has a smooth top or is it perforated like the black?
It's smooth on mine. Brown Ti on my white Five
Just had my 'warranty'* claim from Ribble / Charge rejected.
*It was 14 months old and had done 5000km. The cover was worn through to the padding on one side of the nose... However, I did expect the leather version to hold up longer than that - I've got Flites, for example, with several times that mileage on them and the leather is still intact...
So, comfy saddle for sure but they don't last too well and the leather / ti version isn't worth the £considerable uplift ime.
No custom ones yet?
I've got a Spoon and 2 Knives, and my missus has a Ladle. All good 🙂

Considered a custom one for my new (Foxy XR) build in progress but decided if I was going custom I'd want Ti and Leather, and given what I'm spending on other, more complex bits - I'm not quite ready to spend £120 on a saddle mostly just to get a black Charge logo. So I bought a standard Ti/Leather one for £50 and I'm going to sandpaper the red logo back to black instead.
