Got one of each, both comfy as 👍 but the sdg is just too slippy.
Another charge spoon? Or what else is same/similar shape?

Specialized Phenom in 143mm width is very close to a Spoon.

Which Bel Air are you looking to match to? The 2.0 seems to be very different from the others.

As said, Madison Flux. Pretty much identical/interchangeable. I’ve had a Spoon and a Flux (!) if anything the Flux may have been very slightly more padded.

Also agree with Phenom. I prefer my Phenom Comp to the Spoon/Flux by far.

“ Fabric scoop Radius”

This.

I loved the first Bel Air and found the 2.0 ok but not as good. I thought a Spoon was a bit firm and I didn’t like the seams.
The Fabric saddle you sorta sit “in” like the first Bel Airs so you stay put rather than moving back and forth. No seams and just enough padding to be really comfy but not too much.

They make different shape in a Scoop and the radius is the most curvy. I’ll definitely get another when I need one.

I’d say the Fabric Scoop Radius as well. I really liked the Bel Air 1 and used them for a long time but they were quite big and heavy. So I thought I’d try a Fabric Scoop Radius (gel elite version) on my road bike. Liked it so it’s now on all my mtb’s too.

That said I didn’t really get on with the bel air 2 - I just found it was like sitting on concrete. Tried all sorts of angles with it and better cycling shorts (endura fs260 bibs / dhb aeronautics) but nothing could make that saddle comfy for me.

Gusset R is very similar to the Spoon too. And it comes in some funky designs.

Agreed with above. Loved original Bel Air. Not so keen on Bel Air 2.0 I bought at great expense, didnt realise it was a different shape.

Since bought Fabric Scoop Radius. Love it. Probably get another for the other bike.

Got another more racy Fabric model on my gravel/turbo bike too.

Previously had great success with an old (2007?) 143mm wide Specialized model thats no longer made.

I've always liked the madison flux, which I believe is the exact same as the charge spoon, and pretty generic because I have similar plain saddles on other bikes

I need to buy another because I broke one in a crash. Is the fabric radius similar?

I'm on my second Fabric Scoop Shallow Elite, one of the successors to the Charge (renamed 'Fabric' as they span off the Charge brand eventually into really horrible looking ebikes!), my favourite saddle by miles. Appreciate saddles are subjective but this was the closest I could get to the all day comfort and build quality of the Charge Spoon, which was my previous favourite!

I've settled (literally...) on variants from the Fabric range, Scoop Radius on the MTB, Scoop Shallow (the middle one) on the gravel bike, and the Line (effectively a Scoop Shallow with a cut-out) on the road bike. It's handy to be able to take a standard 'shape' and then buy variants of scoopiness and pimpy rail material depending on the bike you're riding (I even got a carbon railed Scoop Radius for cheap but the rails didn't work with any of my saddle clamps)

Another fabric scoop radius user here, i have a ti railed version on my hardtail, somehow bent a rail a bit at some point but still by far the comfiest saddle i've used and not looking to replace. All the specialized saddles i've used in the past have been decent as well. Former Charge Spoon, SDG Bel Air user, i know saddle fit/comfort is quite individual but the scoop transfers well shape wise to those for me.

brand x Trail at £10 is the cheapest way into a charge spoon. Heavier rails tho.

@bikerevivesheffield Yes please. I might be the only person who actually likes them.
I'm not too far from you either.

I'm a big fan of SDG Bellair saddles (original and revamped cheapy one). I have not found anything as comfy on a mountain bike.

I currently have a Fabric Scoop radius and the shallow type one, neither is anywhere near as cosseting as the Bell-air.

As for the Flux, the one I had was never really comfy. Not the same shape as the Bell-air either.

Can't you just buy a fabric material type SDG Bellair or scuff up the one you have?
