Hi all,

I was looking for a Charge Spoon saddle to see what the fuss was all about and the black ones seem to be out of stock everywhere.
Then I found two sellers on Ebay from Taiwan who have them in stock, at a very reasonable price.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Charge-Bikes-Spoon-CR-MO-Chromoly-Rail-XC-Enduro-Road-Bike-Saddle-Seat-Black-/201406874574?hash=item2ee4c903ce

Anyone knows if these Taiwan Spoons are trustworthy?
I'm asking because there was some talk a couple of years ago about counterfeit WTB saddles, so I'm curious.

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers

How about a Madison Flux instead? They are identical.

have you looked at Fabric saddles? I think they have one that's the same.
check the Ribble site.

That looks a very normal price for a Spoon. Mine was about £14 from Wiggle. Not always easy to find the colour you want though.

Madison Flux is very similar but a bit more padding. I have both.

SDG Falcon is similar too.
The ti ones are usually cheap somewhere.

The covering matters a lot, some are sticky which is bad, others are smooth which is good.

Aren't they made by some mfr who sells it to several different brands...
I have the Ti version on a couple of bikes, & love them.

I buy in parts from Taiwanese ebay shops when I need them, cheaper than local for me, and I haven't been stung on tax yet.

If it's real it'll be fine. Then creak like a rusty door after 2 months.

Thanks for all the answers

I think I should be fine with the Taiwan ones then

About the Fabric, aren't they the same as the old Scoops?
Which one is comparable to the Spoon?
Thanks

Spoon's are made by Velo.
The model number for their own brand equivalent is 1205.

Info kindly provided by Jameso of this forum some time ago.
I've only just remembered, hope this helps.
