... not made of sponge. In fact they are the antithesis of spongyness. But they are pretty cheap for lockons and really thin.
I put some on my HT last night and rode around W2 at Afan today with them. I don't think I'll be keeping them.
The thinness seems to increase feel on climbing (good) but I had a tricky time holding the bars descending. I usually grip fairly gently, but my hands had to work unusually hard to grip the very thin profile. I think they are just too thin for my hands.
So if you have small hands these may be the grips for you.
I like 'em
What colour are they, I might take em off your hands if you wanna sell em.
I'm interested depending on colour aswell.

BTW Charges items are all named after household (kitchen) items - Duster, Plug, Blender, Sponge etc etc
Wasn't sure about the thinness either but I got used to them, until they were killed by 10@kirroughtree. Don't think they'd be the longest lasting anyway so makes them less value than they would seem.
They're black with silver lock rings. Actually they're brown ATM - it was a bit filthy over there today.
I clean them up, give my GF first refusal. If she doesn't want them I'll sell.
Just the colour I want
If the GF doesn't want them I'd like em please
