Any benefits or just the current trend?

I currently have the standard Genesis riser handlebar that came on my Latitude.

I think it's a trend thing. No way could I go back to a flat, or flattish bar. (I have tried one)

Make sure you get the sweep you like as I got wrist ache on my flirtation with the super wide flat bars and went for a riser with some good sweep shortly afterwards....

Wanna buy a Blackspire 810mm monster flat bar in black?

@rootes1 - if I see a bar cheap I might just do that

@tomaso - thanks for the offer, but that would be too wide and don't want to have to start cutting them down!
