I'm looking to change my cranks to 30mm diameter so need to replace my hope bb which is a hope pf41 to a 30mm what best way of removing the current bb

Follow the instructions on Hope's website, look under tech support.If you haven't got the installation/removal tools, it'll probably be cheaper to take it to a shop that has.

You can drift it out either using a taper punch or piece of dowl / wood and a hammer, will just tap out

Or you can buy specific unior or park tool kit to do it.

Do not try to drift it out, it's threaded together using Hope's specific tools.

The Hope PF41 BB only consists of two separate bearing and can be drifted out and pressed in. If you have a different BB in currently, some are screwed together but most just tap out.

There are two types of PF41 BB's, i'm assuming he's got the screw together 24mm jobby, not the 30mm press-in bearings as he wants to remove it so he can fit a 30mm crank set.
