I'm in the process of changing my Hope QR seat collar to bolt through. I bought the clamp bolt and tear-drop nut that apparently should do it (here, for example: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/seat-posts/for-364mm-above-hope-seat-clamp-bolt-teardrop-nut/).
Went to fit it and... it doesn't fit. The bolt fits as it should, with the head fitting in the recess in the collar. But on the nut side, the nut looks like it should fit into a recess in the collar that just isn't there. In the pic below, the blue thumb screw on the QR fits into that hole, and the tear drop nut does not.
Sooo... is there a different kit that converts it? Anyone had success with a different way of doing it?
I think they weren’t interchangeable on the last generation of Hope seat clamps.
The new generation clamps can use interchangeable bolt or qr. Part numbers in this link:
I’m a big fan of Hope stuff in general, have their headsets, hubs, BBs, and brakes on my bikes. But regarding the seat clamp I’d recommended replacing it with any generic bolted clamp - I think I put a Madison on mine. Clamps far better at lower torque.
Gah, this is the link for the tear drop nut

As someone tall who runs a lot of seatpost, I often had issues with creaking and slippage - until I started using these, which I now have on all my bikes:
