You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Anyone live there/been out riding there? On the spur of the moment I've booked a cheepy week away. I'm wondering though, should I take the Stiffee or the Alpine 160?

do a search - loads of info out there.
oh and take the 160.
160.
get the tom wilson north guide book
its steep and nasty 😛
holy trail, sick track are my two favs.
cheap weekend in cham! you wont be drinking then.
the trails are very good ranging from high alpine s/track to full on dh trails now.
my reccomendation would be a lift to the top of les houches then ride down to st gervais, and hook up with the pipeline trail.
but Toms' book will tell you all you need to know, he works in ZeroG where they also sell the aformentioned pamphlet.
The Alpine it is then, and the book is now ordered! It sounds a lot more flowing then I thought. For some reason I had it down as much more twisty-turny and switchback oriented where the Stiffee might have been the better choice of bike. The pic of the Holy Trail looks great, as do those on the linked threads. Anyone got any more?!
@Bobby - I don't drink anyhow and there's no way I'm paying 5euro or whatever it might be a for Coke on the hill!
I wouldn't really call it flowing - its some of the steepest/tech riding I have ever done...
here is a vid from last year that we took.
