Built up my new bike, did a bunnyhop and got a clunk noise (chain on chainstay). It's been a few years since I've had a bike with a chainstay, so was wondering what the general consensus on chainstay protection was these days? It's a steel frame, so want to keep the paint nice on it. So what's best out of

Heli Tape?
Lizard Skin Neoprene protectors?
Inner tube ziptied?
Something else?

Old tube split down the middle the wrap really tight around stay. Then run over it with some black sparkie tape looks really neat.
