Hi,

I'm needing to replace the 4 bolt 32t middle chainring for my Truvativ Chainset. But I'm having real trouble in finding one. I've heard rumours that Shimano ones won't fit. Anybody got any suggestions of makes that would fit.

Cheers

Graham

Truvativ 4-bolt chainset needs a regular middle chainring with a shelf...that is what the composite Shimano 32T rings lack and have material that gets in the way.

You need old-school Shimano non-HT-II ring or a Middleburn/RaceFace/Blackspire/FSA ring.

Look at your old one and compare it to the pictures at CRC.

Plenty of choice at CRC.

I replaced the worn out middle ring on my Stylo crankset with a bog standard cheapo Deore one with no problems whatsoever.
