Basic question have converted my 2x9 double and bash to a straight 1x9 with a SS 34t N/W.
I have installed the single ring in the middle position and removed the bashring.
Couple of questions
1) Do I need to install the bashring as the bolts are a bit too long without it or get shorter bolts
2) I have removed the Stinger as these apparently only work with a bashring so will I need a top guide of some sort

1 - whatever takes your fancy. Do you need a bash, or will short bolts do?
2 - maybe, maybe not. It seems different for everyone. I would, other's I know wouldn't, and haven't.
