Happening on the gravel bike in the recent sloppy conditions.

Recently changed lube to Squirt, and it's only been happening since.

But then, the trails have been dry until the last couple of weeks.

Drivetrain has done nearly 8000km in 17 months with one cassette & chain change at about 10 months, original chainrings. Not noticeably 'shark-fin' in profile but the hollows on the chainring (inner particularly) are quite deep.

So, just revert to wet lube while the trails are sh*t? Or replace drivetrain? I'm thinking probably the latter, in which case, where to get SRAM (or compatible) Rival 50/34 11sp chainrings.

Turn the chain ring around and see if it's any better (an old school tightwad's solution)

How many chain rings do you have and does it happen in all of them? Yes turn chain ring round check all teeth for a bent one... Measure you chain 12 inches pin center to pin center... Pedal back wards check for tight links Get ready to buy new drivetrain....

It's 2x11. 34 & 50t. Only happening on the inner ring.

Is the mud particularly fine like clay/ silt?

It's a fact of life in gritty conditions. Chainring wear doesn't help but it can still happen on new rings, and you are at risk of binning rings that will be fine for many years in conditions other than gritty slop. Your choice.
